COVID

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, we have instituted a number of measures recommended by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to best protect the health and safety of our staff and our residents:

Restricted visitation: For the safety of our residents and staff, all visitations remain suspended currently, unless in end of life scenarios. Wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE): All healthcare personnel and other facility staff shall wear a N95face mask and gloves while within six feet of residents and one another. They don't wear gloves unless the person is in isolation.

Limitation of non-emergency offsite appointments: Non-emergency offsite appointments shall be canceled to prevent unnecessary potential for exposure.

Health check/screening: All individuals are screened upon entrance to the center by answering designated questions and a physical temperature check. Any adverse response or temperature reading are addressed accordingly.

Dedicated Unit:  We have an completely isolated wing with dedicated staffing to provide care for any residents with symptoms and/ or residents that have tested positive for COVID -19 while still keeping them isolated from the rest of our community. This wing also has its' own ventilation system that keeps germs from spreading.

Families still have the opportunity to connect with their loved ones. Our number one priority is ensuring our residents are cared for in a safe and healthy environment. As a friendly reminder, although visitation is restricted at this time, please feel free to contact our Concierge for video chats with your loved ones. Please check back on our website for updates.

How you can help? Do everything you can to keep yourself and others safe and healthy. Follow social distancing guidelines, clean your hands often, and stay home if it all possible, especially if you are sick. We are in close contact with the health department and are following their guidance for continuing education and updates. Thank you again for your ongoing support and understanding; it is our pleasure and mission to care for your loved ones.

Despite all our best efforts and preparation, the COVID-19 pandemic facing the world has found its way within the walls of our facility. Even more distressing, we understand how persistent the virus is and how sudden and silent its spread has been. Even thought we have had cases we are happy to report that many have recovered from their bout with Covid-19. Our prayers continue for all of our residents and we hope you will keep them in yours as well.

Our goal-oriented approach is to get you back home to leading the life you love, as quickly as possible.
